Meat/Deli Clerk
Horner's Butcher Block in Marion has 1 part time position open for the Meat/Deli area. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. This position's primary job is customer service, waiting on customers at the meat/deli counter. It also involves working with meat equipment (slicers, scales, etc.), hot food equipment, wrapping, filling supplies and product, and clean up. Cashier
Horner's Butcher Block in Marion has 2 part time positions open for cashier. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. This position primarily focuses on customer service. It involves being able to accurately run the scanning/cash register system and being able to accept many different forms of payment. The cashier is responsible for the watching the front end inventory and cash registers at all times. Must be at least 16 years old and have transportation to work. Office
Horner's Butcher Block in Marion has an open position for the office. Office clerical and bookkeeping experience is needed. This position involves daily ledgers, balancing cash drawers, preparing bank deposits, paying invoices, filing, keeping sales records, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, answering the phone and taking phone orders, assisting cashiers, and other clerical work as needed. The hiring of this position may involve a background check and at least 3 references will be checked. This position would be 30-35 hours per week at the Marion office primarily, but could involve going to the Fairmount office on occasion.
